Kaz' s first appearance on stage

The Great KAZ Effect

by Jon Riggs

I. m 30 years old. I am a lifter and competitor. I have never seen the legendary Bill Kazmaier in person before this momentous occasion. KAZ made an appearance at the A&K Nutrition Bodybuilding Show on November 20th, 1999 in Madison, Wisconsin. I was lucky enough to get front row seats and was literally in a state of shock when KAZ came out on stage. He is that massive looking! Not only was it inspiring to see what an individual can do with his or her body physique-wise, but also the torture one can endure. KAZ put on a strength exhibition where he attempted to break a world record in the seated dumbbell press. KAZ. s goal was to do 50 repetitions, but he managed 30 repetitions after noticeably injuring his right deltoid on the 20th repetition. KAZ used dumbbells that weighed in at 100 lbs. in each hand! KAZ did admit that while he might not be as strong as he once was, his cardiovascular endurance has never been better! While sitting in the audience, it became apparent that I was next to an ol. high school acquaintance of the mighty KAZ. It was cool to hear some of the old football highlights of KAZ. s high school days! All I. ve got to say is WOW! It turns out that KAZ used to work out in my hometown! After the show, KAZ stuck around to talk to individuals and sign autographs and such.

A "buffed" out KAZ with 23"+ arms?
