I think I speak for my entire family when I extend a thank you to everyone who has responded to this tragic news. Chris touched many people and all of them in a positive way. He was one of the best people I knew and I am proud, honored and privileged to be his brother - ALWAYS. This is a very hard time for everyone I am sure - not just us - and I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words, support and offer of any assistance with so many things going on. I truly miss my LITTLE brother (who is about 8 inches taller than me) and cant believe this has happened... as I am sure many of you are. There were a few things in life he was truly searching for - some he got, some he didn't - but he never let that discourage him... and he was always there to help out.... didn't matter when you called or needed him. This world is basically a mess these days... too many people having their own agendas, no regard for others, etc.... if there were more of Chris in this world, it would truly be a better place. He was a big teddy bear... acted rough around the edges... but a big teddy bear. But he is in a better place now. That is easy to say. I know he is with me..... but digesting this is very hard right now... time will make it "better" but not "forgotten". There is a part of me that has been taken that will never be replaced... my brother... that will always be there. Many of us spend our days running with everything going on.... stop and take some time for the ones you care about and tell them so. Life is so very precious and you just never know. I say that all the time but have now learned it the hard way. John
