There is a sadness that has enveloped me yet leaves me chilled to the bone, news that no parent ever wants to hear has echoed throughout our homes and out hearts. No matter how hard I try to find words that could make a difference I can find none. I am hoping that there is truly strength in numbers as we all journey to Maryland to be with our sister, Chris's mother and her family. It is my hope that our being there will help even if only in a small way. Our family is now forever broken but we can help each other mend by remembering Chris and how he affected each and every one of us. I am sure he is already laughing with Pop-Pop They had a similar sense of humor, he is now in great hands, he will truly be missed.
