Dear Renee You and I have been friends for many years, and you have jokingly called me Mom. I never knew until this evening how just connected we were. I didn't put the pieces together until after we finished talking and I read the postings on line and the article in the Capital neswpaper. Renee, your brother saved my son's life. I never knew who he was until tonight, and I am so very sorry I will never be able to thank him im person. My son was with Chris Wojcik, the night his home was broken into. No one will ever know how many lives your brother saved that night. When Carol tried to get help, to my knowledge she knocked on many doors, but your brother is the one who came to their rescue. I often wished I could meet him and thank him in person. The memories of that night were so horrible, that we all tried to move on and forget what happened. I however, never forgot to thank God for the hero who saved their lives, who I now know was your brother Chris. Renee, everything I have read on this site, tells me what a wonderful person your brother was. I would just like to let your family and Chris friends know, that they also were perhaps unknowingly in the presence of a hero. God Bless you and your family and know that I will always hold Chris in my thoughts and prayers. In deepest sympathy your very grateful friend, Libby
