 It is the explicit aim of this website to pay a tribute to America's legends in the strength field as well as an information hub for great Americans in strength athletics including such diverse activities as powerlifting, weightlifting, highland games and strongman/woman contests. To this end all profiles are chocked full of information, photos and sound clips. All of the people portrayed at this site serve as positive role models regardless if you lift weights or not. It is also the explicit aim of this website to serve the fans. This is the fan's site. No politics. Each athlete is portrayed in the same manner. To further these aims, American Strength Legends does not solicit or except any advertisements or affiliations with organizations.
