This car built by Mosher's Muscle cars, world famous
Mopar specialist. This is Bob Mosher and Curt Stimpson's
only altered wheel-base factory funny car of all their
years of building Mopar race cars. It's a '65 Coronet
hardtop made into a post car "as per factory specs".
Transmission is an 833-23 spline 4 speed. Very rare 1968
Hemi factory replacement 426" no date ID 600 horsepower,
2935 pounds, ET 10.27 at 125 miles per hour. This car is
the finest AFX car in quality - patina and all to
factory specs "off the spec sheets". Light weight front
end, trunk, doors, lexan windows, aluminum bumpers,
A-100 seats, dash delete. Original Hilborn fuel
injection with velocity stacks, tuned by Hilborn
factory. Dana 60 - 4.5 6:1 sure grip rear end, 4 point
roll cage, zero offset American 5 spoke mags. Unlike the
original factory Coronet's built to wage battle in the
unlimited super stock drag race wars back in 1965, the
Mosher car is street legal and driven. NHRA outlawed
these cars for most of the 1965. Drawing massive crowds
all over the country, NHRA allowed them to return,
stating - you can run those "funny cars" - thus coining
the phrase
